Casa Del Rio is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom detached villa with a heated pool and private parking in the much sought after resort of Los Pocillos, Puerto Del Carmen.

This homely villa is located near to a mini market, some lovely restaurants and not forgetting the sandy beach of Los Pocillos.  There is around a 15 minutes’ walk to the start of all the attractive resort of Puerto Del Carmen and Matagorda has to offer. The “New Town” with its chic cocktail bars, elegant boutiques and stylish restaurants should not be missed. Playa Grande and Playa Chica are only a 5 minutes’ drive away, offering sandy beaches and a great selection of traditional restaurants and seafront bars for you to try. This location is a great choice for those who wish to enjoy all the resort has to offer.

Villa Entrance

From the roadside you will enter the garden gate, make your way up 3 steps which will lead you to the wonderful terrace with the front door straight ahead of you.

Swimming Pool, Pool Terrace, and Sunbathing Area

There is a spacious terrace to be able to sit back and relax whether it be in the comfy seating area with a good book or refreshments, or the sunlounges located around the pool.

There is also a shaded outside dining area to the front of the villa which together with the brick BBQ is ideal for enjoying alfresco dining.

The private heated swimming pool is accessed by using the fixed ladders into the pool. 

There is also a utility area at the back of the villa which houses the washing machine and drying area.

Lounge and Kitchen

As you enter Casa Del Rio, you walk into the homely open planned Living Room which has a large window letting the light flood in and kitchen on your right. There is a Bluetooth speaker and a smart television which has many television channels including sports Channels.

Casa Del Rio comprises of two spacious bedrooms, 1 double bedroom which has patio doors that lead out to the amazing pool terrace along with an ensuite shower room and one single bedroom with 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes and air conditioning units. 

There is also a Family Bathroom with shower over the bath located between the bedrooms and open plan living area and Kitchen.

Playa Grande is at the heart of the resort and stretches just under a mile. Backed by the many bars and restaurants of the strip, this wide, sandy beach has calm waters and plenty of parasols and sunbeds available to hire. Playa Pocillos is at the eastern end of the resort, and is a long, open stretch of sand popular with windsurfers. If you’re around the harbour, there is a small beach known as Playa Chica.

Timanfaya National Park is not to be missed on your visit to Lanzarote. Easily accessible from Puerto del Carmen, this beautiful protected inland area showcases the volcanic landscape of the island. You can journey through the park on a guided bus tour or even arrange a visit by camel. 

The Cesar Manrique attractions in the north of the island are also well worth a visit. Explore the cactus garden or travel to the remarkable observation deck that is the Mirador del Rio.

At night, the place comes alive with Cowboys and Indians themed entertainment, with a BBQ, disco, line dancing and games – great fun for all the family! Lanzarote Karting is a popular go-karting centre, while Lanzarote A Caballo is a horse-riding venue offering many equestrian excursions across the island.
