Lanzarote Sunshine Villas SL own the properties on the website and will carry out letting and management of said properties to the best of their ability. It is in the interest of all parties concerned that the following terms and conditions are accepted as a binding agreement.
Lanzarote Sunshine Villas SL reserves the right to alter, modify, or cancel any holiday in certain instances. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage of luggage, personal injury or death.
All properties, photographs and descriptions give our true impressions. It is in our interests that you enjoy the best possible holiday, booked through Lanzarote Sunshine Villas and of course we want you to book with us time and time again, so please do take the time to read the description of your chosen holiday home, and do not hesitate to ask us about anything you are not sure about. Lanzarote Sunshine Villas SL have a policy of maintaining properties to a high standard, consequently regular maintenance, pool cleaning and gardening may be carried out during your holiday, we will wherever possible ensure that these works do not spoil any part of your holiday.
Spanish law dictates that your passport information is submitted to the national police within 24hrs of your arrival which Lanzarote Sunshine Villas will do on your behalf. Your acceptance of the above will form part of your booking agreement.
Acceptance of Booking
Your reservation is only binding once we have received (1) your deposit and (2) your completed booking form confirming that you have read and accept our terms and conditions.
Passport Information
Passport information or National ID details are required for all guests travelling which you will be asked to fill in during the booking process.
In the event of a passport expiring / replaced after a booking form has been accepted by Lanzarote Sunshine Villas and prior to your arrival, new passport details must be in our possession no later than 14 days prior to your arrival. Failure to submit passport details may invalidate your holiday booking.
Within the first 24hrs of your arrival, you will be asked to sign a Passport information form which will be left in the villa for your arrival and will be collected by one of the Lanzarote Sunshine Villas team. You are signing the document confirming that the passport details which you submitted at the time of booking was correct for the Lanzarote Sunshine Villas staff member to submit the national police were correct. This must be signed by all persons over the age of 16. This process is equivalent to a hotel check-in service.
This is a separate requirement to the Advanced Passenger Passport (API ) information which you will be asked to provide, if you have booked a flight with an airline, as part of your check-in process.
Passports, ID cards, visas and health requirements
It is your responsibility to check and fulfil the passport, visa, health and immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary.
You must check requirements for your own specific circumstances with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates and your own doctor as applicable. Requirements do change and you must check the up to date position in good time before departure.

Most countries now require passports to be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. Proof of covid-19 vaccinations may be required to enter some European countries (either in document format or by a covid-19 pass app.) If your passport is in its final year, you should check with the Embassy of the country you are visiting. All non-British passport holders must check passport and visa requirements with the Embassy or Consulate of the country(ies) to or through which you are intending to travel. Requirements may change and you must check the current position in good time before your departure date. For European holidays you should obtain a completed and issued GHIC prior to departure.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents before departure. We regret we cannot accept any liability if you are refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure on your part to carry correct documentation. If failure to have any necessary travel or other documents results to fines, surcharges or other financial penalty being imposed on us, you will be responsible for reimbursing us accordingly. This includes not being able to travel due to a mislaid, damaged or lost passport.

Booking & Payment
To reserve your desired property, a deposit of 10% of the full villa rental is required during the booking process.
The balance of your account must be paid no later than EIGHT weeks prior to your arrival date. You will be sent an email reminder 10 weeks before the balance is due.
If payment is not received by the due date, we may consider your booking has been cancelled unless an alternative method of payment has been previously agreed between both parties. Lanzarote Sunshine Villas SL reserves the right to hold you liable for cancellation charges on any confirmed bookings.
By making a booking, the first or lead named person on the booking, agrees on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking that: –
- He/she has read these terms and conditions and has the authority to and does agree to be bound by them;
- He/she consents to our use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is authorised on behalf of all persons named on the booking to disclose their personal details to us, including where applicable, special categories of data (such as information on health conditions or disabilities and dietary requirements);
- He/she accepts financial responsibility for payment of the booking on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking.
Cancellation of Booking
In order to safeguard our clients, we request that all cancellations are noted in writing.
Holidays cancelled 12 weeks or more prior to your date of planned arrival will only incur the loss of the Deposit.
Any holiday cancelled within eight to twelve weeks of your planned arrival will be charged 75% of the full holiday value.
Cancellations within 8 weeks of planned arrival date will be charged 100% of the full holiday value.
Please check your Travel Insurance Policy for their cancellation details as you may be able to re-claim your incurred loss.
Last Minute Bookings
In special circumstances, when last minute bookings are taken, the full amount of your bill is due on the day of your booking and all passport information must be submitted within 24hrs prior to your arrival.
Changing your Booking
Lanzarote Sunshine Villas SL will endeavour at all times to assist you with any change of plans, however changes that fall within the eight-week period of your date of arrival, and where we are unable to accommodate those changes, will be considered as having been cancelled by you.
Alteration
We reserve the right that, if for reasons beyond our control, the accommodation booked by you cannot be provided, we will use all reasonable effort to offer the best possible alternatives.
Full refunds will be made where there is not a possible alternative.
Lanzarote Sunshine Villas SL liability can in no circumstances exceed the total amount paid by you to the company.
Compensation
If cancellation or change by Lanzarote Sunshine Villas SL is brought about by force majeure, for the purposes of these Booking Conditions, force majeure means any event beyond our or our supplier’s control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Such events may include, war, threat of war, riots, civil common strikes, disaster, terrorist activities, technical problems with transportation, airport closure, alteration or cancellation of scheduled services, or any other event outside the control of Lanzarote Sunshine Villas SL, compensation of any kind will not be payable.
In all such instances we advise you to contact your holiday insurance company.
Service and Price Guarantees
As part of our commitment to quality customer service, we guarantee there will be no surcharge to any of our accommodation charges. You will always pay what has been confirmed to you in writing at the time of booking even if charges had to be increased at a later date and before your time of arrival.
However, we do reserve the right to vary our prices at any time without notice and it is therefore advised to book your holiday well in advance in order to secure the best possible deal.
Failure of main services at our properties, such as water, electricity or disturbance in the vicinity can happen from time to time and every effort will be made to rectify this if it is within our control.
Theft, Loss or Damage
- All our properties are in safe residential areas, however should you experience a theft, loss or damage to any of your personal property you are advised to contact the local police immediately.
Please request a written report, which should be completed with the assistance of a recognised Spanish Translator. This will enable you to claim against your travel insurance. All our properties offer small safes for your travel documents and small amounts of cash. We cannot be held responsible if you travel with expensive jewellery or large amounts of cash and please be aware that most travel insurance companies have a limit on the value of individual items covered.
- Please note that many holiday resorts have local siesta or residential noise pollution level regulations in force, between set hours. Any uncivil activities or disruptive behaviour may result in further action by local enforcement or you may be asked to leave the villa and no refund would be issued in such circumstances.
- We request that all guests respect the company’s policy that our properties are strictly NO SMOKING – guests who wish to smoke should do so outside, not in the property.
- Lanzarote Sunshine Villas reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning cost, which will be a minimum of €100 for any violation of this condition.
Excursions
Excursions or other tours that you may choose to book or pay for whilst you are on holiday are not part of the holiday provided by us. Lanzarote Sunshine Villas acts as an Agent and for any excursion or other tour that you book, your contract will be solely with the operator of the excursion or tour and not with us and no liability is attached to Lanzarote Sunshine villas SL.
Building Works
From time to time, building work and its associated noise is unavoidable. We do not control such work, and we do not receive advance notice of when it will begin. Most minor refurbishments and/or maintenance work being carried out at other properties in the area would not affect your holiday, however, where we are aware of work taking place that may reasonably be considered as significant and likely to seriously impair the enjoyment of your holiday we will notify you as soon as possible.
Complaints procedure
In the unlikely event that you have reason to complain about any aspect of our properties or its services, the complaint should in the first instance be directed immediately to the property management in Lanzarote. This will enable us to rectify things as quickly as possible. Should the matter remain unresolved to your satisfaction, we would request that you write to us within seven days of your departure, giving us full details of your experience.
Lanzarote Sunshine Villas SL will accept no liability if the above procedure is not followed. In the event of any legal disputes or claims for compensation, these will be dealt with solely under Spanish Law.
